Scouts and Scouters:

Now is the time to submit your application for Philmont 2008. 

If you want to apply for the 2008 Philmont Expedition, complete the two attached forms and turn them in to John McCabe by October 15th, 2007.  Each scout or adult must fill out both forms. The $250 per person deposit is due before October 31, 2007.
 
The estimated cost for Philmont is about $1,800 per person.  The dates are July 13 - 27, 2008.  The Philmont website is: http://www.scouting.org/philmont/

Scouts and Scouters:

Troop 62 will take a group to the Boy Scout Ranch at Philmont, NM during 13-27 July 2008.  Please review the following information and consider whether or not you would like to participate.  I don't need an answer now, but at some point I will ask you to decide and make a commitment.

Dates:  13-27 July 2008  (You will be gone for two full weeks.)

Age Requirement:  At least 14 years old as of 1/1/08, OR have completed 8th grade and be at least 13 years old before 7/13/08. (Cobra Patrol and older scouts.)

Estimated cost: $1,700 per person

More details will be provided as the plan comes together.  In the meantime, talk to one of the senior scouts or adults who went on the last trip to find out how awesome it will be.   There are pics of the last trip posted in the scout room.
