Welcome!  You're at the entry portal to Troop 62's Website.  Our Chartering Organization is Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church, in Winter Park, Florida, although we currently have a mixture of Catholic, Episcopalian, Presbyterian, and Methodist scouts. All faiths are welcome. We are a "High Adventure" troop, who like to Backpack, Canoe, and Mountain Bike.  In the last three years, our activities have included monthly outings (we travel out of our backpacks) around our area, frequently on the Florida Trail, with out of area summer activities on the Appalachian Trail, at Camp LaNoChe, Camp Daniel Boone,  National Park trails in Colorado, Philmont and  SeaBase and Camp Woodruff.  We're a "Leave No Trace" troop.  We are active in Scout activities such as "Scouting for Food" and have approximately 60 scouts on our roster at present, ranging from Scout to Eagle rank.  Please feel free to look around our site; if you find a broken link or have a suggestion, please tell the Webmaster.   If you lose your bearings and forgot your compass, hit the "Home" link on the menu bar to the left.
